The Legacy Senior Communities
The Legacy provides care to seniors with compassion and dignity on two different campuses in Dallas and in Plano. There are many different ways to volunteer here (see flyer below). There is an 1-2 hr orientation and tour and then you can volunteer. You can do visits with elderly, bring pets to visit, play music, play games or BINGO , or even make birthday or holiday cards.

Meals on wheels
10 million seniors face hunger in America. Meals on Wheels helps deliver meals daily to the elderly in need . Kids can go with their parents to deliver meals. There are many different locations in the Dallas area.

The Senior Source
You can volunteer with Senior Source to make a difference in the lives of the elderly by filling out an application on their website.
Families are welcome to volunteer by visiting nursing homes in the area to help the residents feel less lonely. You can also make cards and drawings for the residents.
